Visit No. 9 Tolerance 2

It’s been four months since my last appointment and I have been dosing 18 peanuts a day and keeping up with my maintenance foods. The weekly crab was getting difficult for me so I switched to lobster. My dad and I left the morning after Christmas and arrived in Long Beach, CA in the afternoon. The following morning I had two appointments, the first for annual bloodwork. They took so much blood that they needed to take it from both of my arms. I really hate having my blood drawn but it has gotten easier the more I do it. The second appointment that morning was a food challenge of 30 peanuts. I passed the challenge and will eat 24 peanuts a day when I return home. This cycle will last 10 weeks and I will return in March of 2025 to hopefully graduate from the program by eating 60 peanuts! Speaking of graduation, I finished my first semester of senior year and will be graduating high school in May.
